Wint, a 21-year-old artist from DC’s DMV area, has been living and breathing music for as long as he can remember. For him, there’s never been a moment without a soundtrack, and that love for sound naturally evolved into making his own. He started taking music seriously in eighth grade, and from there, his journey has been all about experimenting, learning, and channeling life into his craft.
Growing up, Wint immersed himself in all genres, from Lil Wayne, D’Angelo, and Future to Anita Baker, Tony! Toni! Toné! and John Legend, and now he’s leaning into trap music, inspired by the likes of Bankroll, Gucci Mane, and Jeezy. But his creative spark comes from more than just artists: everyday life, experiences, and even small moments like a place he briefly visited feed into his sound.
His music has been a process of growth, from a Playboi Carti Minecraft remix recorded on the Tutu app to his first project under the name Kk8rrupt, and now to the stage where he’s ready to show the world what he’s about.
